Are you sick and tired of having to plug and unplug audio cables from your computer every time you want to switch from your headphones to your speakers? Getting annoyed having to re-connect your headset every other hour for a Zoom call? This'll make your life a lot easier
This simple circuit takes one audio input and can send it to one of two outputs, based on the position of a switch
It can also help with the longevity of your computer's audio output. Did you know most 3.5mm outputs are rated for less than 5,000 plugs/unplugs? Now rather than wearing out the jack built into your computer, you are just flipping a switch
This circuit can also be used as a hardware off-switch for your speaker or headphones. Just leave one output disconnected, and now when you throw the switch it will physically disconnect the output, without having to deal with plugging and unplugging wires constantly
Available as a pre-assembled circuit, or as a kit with all the components and PCB, for you to solder together!
Important note: Assembled switches are assembled using lead solder.
