Thank you!
Thank you for purchasing the Voltmeter Soldering Kit by Venator Technologies! This kit will teach you how to solder while constructing a useful tool for anyone interested in working with electronics, a voltmeter.
Please be sure to read all instructions before use. Important safety information can be found below, and important information on soldering can be found in Section 2.

Important Safety Information
Do not use this voltmeter to measure over 24 volts, and do not touch any of the exposed metal of the board while it is connected to a power source. To further reduce the risk of shock, do not handle the voltmeter (or any voltage source, for that matter) with wet hands/skin, or allow the voltmeter to come in contact with the inside of your mouth.
This voltmeter is intended as an educational tool and should not be used in place of a certified and calibrated voltmeter for any critical applications.
While all parts of this kit are ROHS-compliant, most solder contains lead or other dangerous materials. Please do not eat or drink while assembling or using this kit, and wash your hands after handling the board.
Only solder in a well-ventilated area while wearing safety glasses. It is strongly recommended that you solder directly in front of a soldering fume extractor to help remove any fumes from the heated solder.
While soldering, the soldering iron, solder, PCB, and electrical component may become dangerously hot. Solder on a non-flammable surface, with no flammable materials at your work space, and always be cognizant of where your soldering iron is.
The PCB in this kit uses a fiberglass core. Do not attempt to cut, scratch, or break the PCB, as it may introduce fiberglass particles into the air.
